Samet is a wife and mother of five who lives in the Dambae district of Cambodia. She and her husband provide for their children (four of which are still in school) by planting, growing, and harvesting cassava and paddy. Together, they have been in business for over 15 years.

This is the third loan that Samet has requested as she has been trying to expand her farm. The money from this loan will be used to buy fertilizer and pay for a tractor's licencing fee.

Samet and another member of her group

As Samet and her husband have been able to expand the size of their farm, the quality of living within their family has risen. They hope to maintain the success they have achieved so far and will continue to work hard.

Samet has already paid back her loan and the Mission Belt Co wishes her the best for her and her family.

Being able to help people like Samet is only made possible by everyone who has purchased a Mission Belt. One dollar from every single belt that we sell goes to helping fight poverty and hunger worldwide. Join the mission today!
